University of Helsinki offers a Trainee Programme for our international master students. You are eligible to apply if you are an international student enrolled in a University of Helsinki master programme.

We are now looking for a TRAINEE for the Faculty of Educational Sciences.

The trainee will work for the Master`s Programme in Changing Education and for the Subject Teacher Education Programme (STEP).

Your tasks as a trainee will include for example: support orientation of new students, support development of coordinated feedback mechanisms, note taking and reporting support to working groups, small teaching assistant duties, production of different types of content (for example preparing different materials for events) and assisting tasks for different events.

We offer an opportunity to improve coordination and quality of the two study programmes as a member of an enthusiastic team of administrators and academics.

We expect you to have excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to take initiative and to work collaboratively with the programme teams. Enthusiasm to improve practice at programme level is your main motivator.

The duration of a traineeship is 1 September to 31 December 2021 (four months) of part-time (50%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €700 per month for a part-time (50%) trainee.
