The Opportunity
Are you enthusiastic about health and fitness? Are you looking to expand your previous experience in a sport or fitness centre? Then you could be our new Fitness Service Coordinator!
Monash University is seeking a personable, active individual with considerable experience in customer service to assist with the daily operations of the fitness centre. As Coordinator, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including membership sales and renewals, booking requests and POS transactions. You will also assist with fitness assessments, programs, small group training sessions and marketing and promotional activities.
Your well-developed communication skills will be of great benefit in this position as you form excellent working relationships with staff, students, and gym patrons, and collect and analyse data relevant to the fitness centre, including report preparation and record maintenance.
This exciting role is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated health and fitness instructor who is seeking employment within a team dedicated to service excellence. If you hold a current Senior First Aid qualification and have a current registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia as a fitness instructor, we strongly encourage you to apply for this position.
This position is required to drive company vehicles and as a result, possession of a valid current driver's license is essential.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
