The University of Queensland’s School of Dentistry has a long and proud tradition of 83 years of strength in dental education and research. The School is located at UQ’s historic Herston campus, you’ll be based at a hub for health research just minutes from the Brisbane CBD. The award-winning Oral Health Centre opened in 2015 and is the largest and best equipped facility for patient treatment, dental education and research in Australasia. From 2017, our Oral Health Alliance with Metro North Hospital and Health Services furthered our world-class activities in clinical teaching, research and service provision in oral health.
We are excited to now be recruiting to five Lecturer / Senior Lecturer positions across Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Periodontics, and Oral Medicine. These positions are based at our vibrant Herston campus, UQ’s hub for health research just minutes from the Brisbane CBD. What We Can Offer
We’re open to full-time and part-time appointments, as well as both Teaching & Research and Clinical Academic appointments. All appointments are continuing, to be made at Academic Level B or C.
At Academic Level B, the remuneration for these appointments will be in the range $101,533 - $120 - 570, plus superannuation of up to 17%. The total package will be in the range $118,794 - $141,067.
At Academic Level C, the remuneration for these appointments will be in the range $124,378 - $143,415, plus superannuation of up to 17%. The total package will be in the range $145,522 - $167,796.

Relocating?
In the case of an interstate or international appointee, the University will meet reasonable removal and establishment expenses. Visa sponsorship for this appointment may be available, subject to your eligibility; however please note that we can only provide visa sponsorship for candidates seeking to be employed by UQ on a full-time basis.
