Master Thesis - Analysis of Real-Time Dynamic Power Grid Simulation

 Your Job:

• Analysis of the current state-of-the-art of component models regarding their dynamic behaviour in power systems
  
• Development of extended dynamic simulation models
  
• Integration of data of distributed generation and demand time series
  
• Execution of various simulation scenarios
  
• Evaluation of scenarios for the future energy system within Germany

Your Profile:

• Very good background ind Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or other related subject
  
• Good knowledge of and some experience in real-time simulation tools (preferably RTDS, Opal RT/Simulink)
  
• Strong interest and basic understanding in energy system modelling and simulation
  
• Very good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  
• Independent and analytical working style within a project team
