The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator to join the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health within the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences on a 3-year fixed-term basis. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Research Manager and will be asked to provide a range of high-level administrative services to support the strategies, programs and initiatives of the SCS Research Services team.  

This can include:

  • Proactively contributing to the planning and operational committees to share knowledge in the area of expertise
  • Monitoring developments and reviewing work environment by overseeing and reporting on process and service efficiency 
  • Providing expert and authoritative advice, guidance and training in the area of service, functional or administrative expertise 
  • Actively participate in a range of processes, such as policy development, governance, management decision-making, change management, compliance, quality and performance reporting
  • Liaising to forge effective working relationships with internal and external clients

This position is suited to a highly motivated individual who holds a degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Additionally, the successful candidate will ideally have advanced computer literacy, highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated analytical, research and problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly adapt to and learn new systems.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
