Amanuens in Fluid and Mechatronic Systems
based at the Department of Management and Engineering (IEI)

The Division of Fluid and Mechatronic Systems is located under the department IEI and belongs to the Faculty of Technology. The division has undergraduate teaching in the 300 credits Mechanical Engineering program as well as the master's programs in Mechanical Engineering (120 credits), and Aeronautical Engineering (120 credits).

Duties
We are looking for 4-6 assistants, who, if necessary and by agreement, will assist course coordinators in their teaching. The tasks can involve lesson teaching, lab supervision, correction of reports and maintenance of technical equipment. The tasks can also include a simpler form of administration and assistant service in research projects.

A student research assistant is allowed to conduct work in teaching, administration or participation in research or artistic development work. An employment as an assistant may not exceed 50% of full-time.

Appointment time and starting date
The appointment time and starting date are determined by agreement.

Competence
Qualified for employment as a student research assistant is only those who are admitted to education at the undergraduate or advanced level.

The employment is directly linked to the basic courses for which the division is responsible. The employment is also linked to the research projects conducted by the division.  It is considered an advantage if you are studying at Linköping University at an advanced level and that you can demonstrate documented good knowledge in the areas you are expected to teach. Furthermore, it is especially meritorious if you have experience of previous teaching, as well as being available for assignments throughout 2022.

Salary
Salary for student research assistants is regulated based on an agreement between Linköping University and the unions. The employment is hourly paid.
