Laboratory manager in circadian biology lab

Your mission

We are looking for a Lab Manager to provide the principal investigator (Paul Petrus) and the group with organizational and administrative support in projects as well as general laboratory upkeep and scientific expertise. This is a newly established group, and you will play a central role in organizing the lab from scratch. Responsibilities would include organizing the laboratory infrastructure, management of mouse colonies, onboarding of new lab members and involvement in the experimental part of the research projects.

Your profile

You have a master’s degree or PhD in molecular biology, biomedicine or similar and the following profile and experience:

  1. You are a structured and organized team-player with
  2. Experience in managing and handling mouse colonies.
  3. Basic wet-lab skills (preparing buffers, RNA/protein extractions etc.)
  4. Administrative experience (lab orders, recruitment of personnel, ethical permit applications, budgeting etc.).
  5. Good English and Swedish skills, written and verbal.
