Documented experience of independent scientific work that has led to one or several publications in scientific journals or conference proceedings is also required.

It is also advantageous to have documented experience of working with machine learning and other statistical methods such as regression analysis, PCA, hierarchical clustering, or neural networks, experience of processing and pre-processing text data or other data types, of compiling different types of data from different sources, of different visualization methods of complicated data sets, of collecting experimental or survey data (for example via on-line forms).
