Two postdoctoral positions are available in our laboratory at Western University, London, Ontario, Canada. The projects to be undertaken are supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Canadian Cancer Society, and will explore the roles of mouse and human innate-like T lymphocytes in host responses to viral pathogens (e.g., influenza A viruses and SARS-CoV-2) and sepsis-causing microbes, and in regulation of antitumor immune surveillance.
The ideal candidate has a PhD, MD, DVM (or equivalent), and is well versed in immunological techniques, including flow cytometry. Additional background in RNA sequencing analyses and experience in mouse models of malignant and infectious diseases are preferred.
The candidate should be able to work both independently and as an effective member of a collaborative and growing team. Research stipend will be competitive and commensurate with experience and sought expertise.
