Postdoctoral Position in Cancer Immunology

 

The childhood leukemia research group is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to complement our team at the Department of Biomedicine of the University Children's Hospital in Basel/Switzerland.


Your position


The post-doctoral researcher will functionally characterize the intersection of developing blood cancers and the immune system using transgenic mouse models (Stavropoulou et al., Cancer Cell, 2016; Lopez et al., Cancer Discovery, 2019, Forte et al., Cell Metabolism 2020, Fagnan et al. Blood, 2020, Leonards et al., Nat Commun, 2020).


Your profile


PhD and/or MD-PhD in biology, genetics or immunology. The potential candidate must be experienced in basic techniques of cellular and molecular biology. Experience in flow cytometry and animal (mouse) experimentation is mandatory. Practical knowledge in bioinformatics data mining is a plus. We also expect interest and active contribution of supervision and guidance of (under) graduate students.
