Project assistant in Computer and Network Systems


The division of Computer Networks and Systems within the Department of Computer Science and Engineering seeks a junior co-worker to assist with research-related tasks.


Information about the research/the department

The VLSI Research Group explores new digital and mixed-signal architectures based on CMOS circuits, primarily driven by performance requirements and power budgets of future advanced telecommunication applications. It also manages the Embedded Electronic System Design MSc Program. The project assistant will support the group with research investigations.

The project assistant will help investigate the digital design aspects for a novel ADC architecture, and thus support faculty, staff, and PhD students who presently focus on analog/RF design aspects.

Contract terms
Full time, for a period of three months.

Qualifications
The successful applicant will have recently passed MSc-level digital CMOS design courses with excellent grades. Recent attendance of the EESD courses MCC092 and DAT110 is meritorious.

The candidate must be familiar with Cadence-based digital-ASIC design flows, and will have excellent oral and written command of English.
