We are now looking for a substitut for a position as marketer with a focus on attracting and recruiting international students!

The unit is responsible for:
- Communication initiatives and activities aimed at primary and secondary schools to support long-term student recruitment and stimulate children's and young adult's interest in technology, mathematics and science.
- Communication and marketing efforts to support the recruitment of students to Chalmers' entire range of education, including undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs, and to further broaden national and international student recruitment.
- Create and develop content for channels as well as communication concepts for effective relationship-building with current students.
- Establish and further develop relationships and commitment among Chalmers alumni.
- Marketing efforts connected to Chalmers' vision for lifelong learning.
- Development and implementation of a digital marketing strategy for prioritised target groups.
- External and target group analysis, as well as measurement and evaluation of implemented initiatives.

Role description
This position mainly focuses on marketing Chalmers' range of master's programs and other educational offers to prospective international students, both within and outside of the EU. You will work with other colleagues in the team to plan, implement and evaluate various types of physical and digital marketing and communication activities such as trade fairs, events, webinars and campaigns. You will work with digital channels such as the website, digital presentations and social media.

We have a strong focus on digital presentations and dialogue with prospective students on digital platforms. The position also includes travelling within and outside Europe to meet students. The work takes place in close collaboration with colleagues in all units within the communications department, as well as other internal and external stakeholders. The work tasks may change over time. 

Qualifications
Mandatory education and experience:
A university degree in marketing, communication or alternative education that Chalmers deems relevant for the position.
Digital skills and experience of working with the web, social media, digital advertisment and search engine optimization.
Solid language skills in English and Swedish.

Meritorious educations and experiences:
A couple of years' experience of: Operational marketing, independently planned and implemented marketing initiatives such as events, online and CRM.
Education in project management.
Education in digital marketing and communication.
Experience in working with student recruitment.
Experience in working with relationship marketing.
Experience in working with marketing internationally.
Experience in strategic marketing.
Additional language skills.
