Postdoc in optical interfaces to electrically-controlled spin qubits

Applications are invited from individuals who are interested in contributing to the development of optical interface devices and algorithms for quantum state transfer between photons and singlet-triplet qubits. The selected candidate is expected to focus their research on one or more of the following areas:

  • Characterization of the performance of singlet-triplet qubits, with epitaxial quantum dots serving as photon qubit receivers in their proximity
  • Characterization of spin-photon conversion in epitaxial quantum dots coupled to electrons in the singlet-triplet qubits
  • Control of spin transfer between quantum dots
  • Design and execution of protocols for device operation
  • Design of devices and their fabrication

Your Profile:

  • A Ph.D. (Master) in physics or engineering sciences, with focus on quantum technologies
  • Experience in electrical and/or optical characterization of devices
  • Experience in the design and execution of experiments
